E adevarat!   :o
Noul Trabant Herpa 50 va fi prezentat la data de 17 septembrie 2009 la salonul de la  Frankfurt.
Noul Trabant va fi propulsat cu ajutorul panourilor solare de pe plafon care vor alimenta un motor electric.
Pretul Trabantului variaza intre 8.000 si 10.500 de euro.  :o

te-am intrebat de sursa pentru ca am citit o groaza de articole diferite despre Herpa dar niciunu nu spunea ceva despre panouri solare...
oricum..o groaza de speculatii..cine stie care va fi adevaratul Herpa 50 pana la urma..

E adevarat . Am citit in Cotidianul (cred) despre NEW TRABY ca va fi propulsat ELECTRIC. Mama ce duda le da "celorlate" masini in umbra Crizei Mondiale.

Initiative „newTrabi“
At the International Motor Show „Cars“ 2007 in Frankfurt a. M..

Wide-open saucer eyes, wedge shaped taillights, a friendly exterior – hardly any other automobile in Germany is a famous as
the Trabi. Pop songs, movies and sketches prove the extraordinary relationship of Germans to their Trabant. Numerous fan
clubs – the number is also growing in the west – emphasize the unflagging popularity of this distinctive vehicle. The Trabi
turns 50 on November 7, 2007, but you would be hard pressed to find a more recognizable historic vehicle.
Herpa Miniaturmodelle GmbH, the worldwide leader in manufacturing model cars and airplanes is set to launch the “Initiative
newTrabi” at the IAA. Its stated goal is to revive this legend on four wheels in a new design. Together with all automobile
enthusiasts, we would like to get this cult car back onto the roads.
We would like to invite you for a one-on-one interview to learn more about “Initiative newTrabi”.

The newTrabi becomes Trabant nT – premiered at the IAA 2009

Dear newTrabi Fans,

Perhaps you remember. For the Trabant’s 50th anniversary, the miniature model manufacturer Herpa started the initiative "newTrabi" and presented a design draft at the IAA 2007, demonstrating what a modern Trabant could look like. Back then you have participated in the survey and you have subscribed to the newsletter. The overwhelming positive approval of many thousand respondents around the IAA suggested the continuation of the initiative which is why the "newTrabi" idea has meanwhile become a project with competent partners from the Autoland Saxony. With a lot of creativity, dedication and know-how, the concept car for the "Trabant nT" was developed and manufactured. Experience the preliminary highlight of the newTrabi story at the premiere of the "Trabant nT" at the IAA in Frankfurt. The "Trabant nT" is supposed to become an eye-catcher with history and charm and is to set a trend as city cruiser with electric engine. When the political framework for e-mobility will get under way and our dedication will continue to fall on fertile ground, new Trabis could be on the roads again in 2012 – with zero-emission but with lots of fun.

What do you expect from future cars? Do you think it is time to think again? So do we. Which is why "nT" does not only stand for "newTrabi" but also for "new technology" and "new thinking".

Arata, superb fata de macheta, sicer imi pare un 1,1 kombi mai rotunjit si mai bn finisat cu dotari de ultima generatie, arata splendid ma intristeaza doar motorizarea in cazul drumurilor peste 200km.

Arata foarte bine noul model , imi place ca pastreaza liniile de baza .Sper sa vedem pe strazi mai multe exemplare decat numarul de Logan-uri si Sandero date la nemti. ;D

Frumos,frumos deci inca pastreaza liniile de baza incel mai mic detaliu,(ma refer la cordomul acela si pasajele alea in loc de usi) sper sa scapam si noi de criza ca nemti nici nu prea au fost atinsi si sa intre in productie si sa aiba un pret bun.Iar limuzina e superba un 1.1 electric reeditat eu nici nu ma mai uit pentru la limuzina aia pentru ca sincer mi-am facut inima rea :'(.

I know that you are very busy man,but PLEASE share some light if you are so kind about project TRABANT nt. Is it true that project will be terminated? I read some article (from Romanian newspaper)  that you did not found any investitors to contribute with money to build this electric car. I do not trust this publications that's why i ask you.

We are a Club dedicated to Trabant cars that includes around 400 members and over 150 of them own a Trabant car.We do meetings every year in Romania (about 5 of them),we really LOVE this car.

I send you pictures with my two Trabant's that i own and i am so PROUD of them.

E de admirat efortul tau pentru a ne lamurii cat mai bine,acum sper sa raspunda, si raspunsul sa fie unul pozitiv,ca vorba aia presa romaneasca mananca si mult spanac.

in afara de astea 2 modele (cica noi aparute) ce circula pe net, nu se mai stie nimic, si nici pe site-ul lor nu scrie mare lucru, adica cand il vor scoate la vanzare

site-ul/ forum-ul se numeste "alternate history", adica istorie alternativa; deci un fel de "ce-ar fi daca". nu e proiect, nu e in discutii, nu e real. sunt inventate toate datele de acolo, nu numai despre Trabant. :)
